Today, I decided stay at home read books.
As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth,
science and many other useful things. They increase our knowledge,
broaden our minds and strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers
and wise friends.
This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
Reading is a good thing,
but we must pay great attention to the choice of books.
It is true that we can derive benefits from good books.
However, bad books will do us more harm than good.

Mothers are great. They’re always there for you.
When you’re hungry, they’re there for you with food.
When you’re sad, they’re there for you with words of encouragement.
And when you’re lying comfortably in your bed, mother is there...telling you to get up,
telling you not to be so lazy,
to tidy your room, to do your homework.
And later, she’s there telling you that the style of clothes you wear is awful,
and your friends are no good, and “Why can’t you be more like your cousin,
the brilliant student?”
Yes, mothers are great, sometimes too great.
No one in your life is going to know more about you and care more about you than your mother.
In many ways, mothers are the centres of their children’s universe.
We depend on them for so many things and they give us so much.
That can lead to feelings of being “smothered” by mother; of being too dependent on her;
of being loved too much. And sometimes we just take “good old” mom for granted.
We think she has nothing better to do than take care of our every little need.
That she must stop whatever she’s doing and bring us food or sew on a button.
Mother’s Day is coming soon and this gives us a good chance to take a look at mom
both as a mother and as a person. We can ask ourselves, “Who is this woman who is my mother?”
It’s a good question because your mother was once a young girl who laughed and played and had dreams just like you.
Is she happy now? Did the dreams she had as a young girl come true? Are you adding to her happiness?
Try to think of your mother as another human being — that special human being that has given you life.
And try to make her life happier by showing your love and appreciation.
You can do that by remembering to say, “thank you”
for the everyday things she does like cooking your meals.
You can do chores without being asked to, like cleaning your room.
You can buy her a small gift, perhaps flowers. And, most important of all,
you can show your love and appreciation by saying the magic words that all mothers want to hear
, “Hey, mom, I love you.
Happy Mother’s Day!”

Today is Saturday, My mother is still working. Staying at home is so boring and there doesn’t have an interesting TV shows. Then I saw a newspaper on the table, last time I read the newspaper is long long times ago. I think newspaper is very dull and I take a look of the newapaper,and I find the newspapers has a lot of interesting news in the world , a lot of the news like swine flu.So that we may know what is happening in the world too and even some comic.
I think nowadays the newspaper possesses considerable value , everybody should read it especially the students so that they can improve their language and also on their studies. It supplies us with a variety of news every day. It tells us the political situation of the world. If we form the habit of reading the newspaper, we shall (will) get enough knowledge to cope with our circumstances.

On 11 may (public holiday just for us and also wee teng birthday),
Eearly in the morning when I woke up, I brushed my teeth. After brushing my teeth, I ate my breakfast. My breakfast was bread with kaya and butter (low fat).
Then I called my friend, Gao Xu but she was not at home so I went to polish my boots. Suddenly, Wee Teng called me and asked me about this project. She asked, “how to upload photos into my blog?” I told her to click add image, browse follow by upload it. Then I continued polishing my boots. After polishing my boots, I received another phone call from Gao Xu asking, “what time to meet?” I said 11pm. After that I quickly bathed and left the house.
Once I reached the bus stop and was about to broad the bus. It started raining but it was heavy. This time, I was a bit late and Gao Xu waited for me. It started raining heavily before we boarded the bus.
After that, we reached Seng Kang and we went to some shops to see what we could buy for Wee Teng’s birthday.
Then went to Kopitiam to buy our lunch and I ate macaroni and bought a can drink from another shop. After that, we went to a shop to buy ribbons and some other materials that we needed for the wrapping of Wee Teng’s birthday present. Then went to Popular Bookstore to check out the prices for computer applications workbook. After that, we took different buses and we went home. Then I started doing this project from 7pm -11pm plus.

On 10 may (Mothers’ Day),
Early in the morning, I woke up and brushed my teeth. Then, I ate my breakfast. After eating my breakfast, I watched television on channel 8. I love to watch cartoons, like Doraemon, Powerpuff Girls, Pokemon and etc.
After watching television for some time, I ate chicken porridge. After that I took a rest in my room because later I would be having tuition.
After waking up, I helped my mother to cook mixed vegetables soup. I learnt this dish from my Home Economics teacher and it was delicious. After cooking, I had dinner, followed by taking a bath. Then, I quickly went Compass Point to buy gifts for my mother.
I managed to rush back in time for tuition. My tuition ends at around 10 plus. That’s all for today.

My birthday on 11may

From 11-4.30pm I went out with my friend to the heartland mall .
Because my friend help me celebrated my birthday at the restaurant.
First I come to the restaurant but the waiter serve me the drink like latte but it is nice to drink suddenly something happened. I was scared.
Because the restaurant suddently pour out something so I was scared.
Then my friend give me my birthday present.

After finished celebrating my birthday I went out with my mother then I suddenly very hungry , I went with my mother to eat KFC .
After that I went to find place to seat then my mother went to order the $2.90 +$1.00 drink and then my mother went to paid the money .
Then we started to eat then my mother talk about my celebration how is it?is it fun and nice to play?and then got something to eat.
I tell my mother that my friend give me drink the latte and the ice-cream to eat and go there to play some games.
I told my mother that the restaurant food is very nice and my friend gave me surprise.
After eating our lunch at the KFC ,after eating our lunch we went to take our cake.after taking our cake we are all doneand then we all went home .
We reached home already then we put our cake at the fridge .
Then we rest a while and watched television about 4.30 my mother helped me cook the noodle for me eat .
from4.30-5.30pm I am eating the noodle prepared by my mother and is for my birthday.
From7-8.55pm our parents will cook the dinner for us.
From 8.55-9pm we wil eat our dinner at home.
from 9pm my family will celebrate my 15th birthday.
After 9pm I went to put the ice on the cup and then I pour the soft drink in the cup.
From 10pm I went to take the cake out from the fridge.
After that I take the cake from the box and then I take the cake to the computer just to take a picture.
Then I went to save all the picture in to the computer first

From 9-10am i ate my breakfast.
From 10-12pm i watched television in the living room.
This is the day that i feel is the boring day because I got nothing to do.
After that I use the computer, I got nothing to write about in the blogspot, but I got nothing to do at home and never go out .
From 12-2pm our parent cook lunch.
From 2-4pm i am doing my homework.
From 4-5pm I was cooking the noodle to eat. after Eating I wash my bowl after that I went to watch my television.
At 6-6.30pm I went to take my clothes and my towl and went to the bathroom to bath.
First I went to open the water then I went to bath my head , face and my body.
From 6.30_7pm my mother prepare the food to cook then my cook the vegetable meat and soup.
We waited my father to come back then we eat together.
Eat finish my father wash the plate and bowl, washed finish my father throw all the rubbish and then open the mail letters .
Lastly we all watch the television together.
At 10pm , we went to sleep.

From morning 10am we went to buy the thing.
From 11_12.30pm we cook our lunch.
12.30_1pm we went to change our clothes.
1_2pm we went to NTUC to buy tonight cook for mother day.
2_2.30pm we went to take our mother days cake.
Tonight we all cook for my mother to eat like westen food.Then I help to cut the chicken and meat wait later we need to used it to fried.
Then first we went to find all the plate at the storeroom, after that we went to wash at the plate then we went to clean it dry.
We waited until 6.30pm we went to take the stove , first I fried the hot dog ,fries and the chicken and meat .
After that my father wash the stove and the plate and bowl ,then my father cook the beans . It is cooked until it is hot.
Then we take out the four plate after that we put the chicken and meat then we put the fries , hot dog , beans and the tomato.
After I put the westen food on the table then we put the flowers and fork and knife.
After making finish we went to make the mash potato making finish we put on the table.
Lastly I went to take the ice and then put it in the cup and then pour the soft drink in the cup.
Then lastly we started to eat the dinner.

On 9 may 2009(vesak day),
From the early in the morning, I woke up and brushed my teeth. After that I ate my breakfast then I watched television from 10-1pm. Between 12pm-12.30pm, I ate my lunch at home and it was cooked by my mother. It was potato with meat porridge and it was so delicious.
After eating my lunch, I went back to the living room and watched television.
The show was about a lady whose husband had left her with a two month old baby, to run away from debts. The lady, known as Mrs Tan had no choice so she took the money from the company because she listened to Jo who was her colleague. She wanted to use the money but her lawyer friend told her that it was illegal. She went back to the company to return the money but Jo betrayed her and told the boss that she had taken the money from the company. Mrs Tan was fired.
I have learnt not to trust a friend too much, as some friends may not be truthful to you.
After watching the television, I went to bath and quickly went out with my mother to the temple to pray and bathe the Buddha at Punggol. After praying and bathing the Buddha, I saw wishes which people had hung on the trees.
My mother and I took a bus to Seng Kang to shop at Compass Point.
We decided to get some drinks and food at Kopitiam. While I was walking at the interchange, I saw my uncle who was staying near my block. We took the same bus. Once I reached home, I watched the television. At 8pm, I went to my cousin’s house because it was my cousin's birthday. We just gave him a small gift. That’s all for today.
